Technology can be some time unpredictable that seems to be happening with major technology giants, the popular messaging app was down for more than hours due to outages. The company has restored the messaging now.

During this outage, many users have turned to to went their anger for not being able to share messages, photos, chat with their loved one.

WhatsApp did not officially gave any report about the outages. They seems to have given up on providing useful status reports on when its messaging service is down. According to an estimate, WhatsApp has more than 1 billion users, and the platform is widely used across the world for chats and as a replacement for SMS in a number of countries.

“WhatsApp is down” reports have been constant worldwide on social media. According to reports, a WhatsApp spokesperson told to Reuters the company is aware of the outage and is working to fix it.

Earlier, it was reported that technology giant Google's Google Docs experienced a widespread phishing attack.
