To surprise many Nokia emerges as India’s most trusted mobile phone for 2017 in a recently released study by Mumbai-based TRA Research.

To surprise many has emerged as India's most trusted for 2017 in a recently released study by Mumbai-based . Brand intelligence and data insights firm has ranked Nokia as India's most trusted brand for 2017 in the mobile phones category. Nokia is also seen to be dominating the personal gadgets super-category domain in the listings.

Nokia has climbed a spot higher in the personal gadgets super-category from 2016. As per the findings of The Brand Trust Report 2017, Nokia now ranks 14 among the 1000 most trusted brands in India.

In all, these 1000 brands were grouped across 292 categories to make it to India's most trusted brands list. The study involved 15,000 hours of fieldwork, covering 2,505 consumer-influencers across 16 Indian cities, and generated nearly 5 million data points and 11,000 unique brands, from which the top 1000 brands have been listed in this year's report, said TRA Research.

“Consumers' trust is reflected by the relationship they share with the products they use. Here, Nokia has seen to fortify it's connect with consumers. It is admirable that Nokia has been ranked as one of India's most trusted brands for 2017. Being a part of this distinguished list only goes to reflect how deeply the brand is trusted among consumers,” said Sachin Bhosle, research head, TRA Research.
